Illness, COVID-19, and Cancellations
do not feel well for your appointment?
We all have days when we wake up and feel ill or do not feel quite right. It is important for you as a client to determine if you have a cold, the flu, COVID-19, RSV, other illness, or if you are feeling the effects of seasonal allergies. Each of these situations may have significant impact on how you move through your day.
Colds, the flu, COVID-19 and RSV have a way of arising suddenly. As an integrated health facility, we strive to provide a clean treatment environment for all of our clients. We take all steps necessary to limit germ and virus sharing between practitioner and client as well as between clients using the facility.
At the first moment that you realize you have caught a “bug”, please consider yourself contagious and reschedule your appointment online immediately.
For a cold, the flu, COVID-19, or RSV this contagious period may last 3 to 14 days after the appearance of the first symptoms*.
If you know or believe you have recently been in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, please allow at least five symptom free days post exposure before your appointment.
If you are experiencing allergies, these are not contagious, so your appointment time is firm.
If you are uncertain if you are contagious, contact us before your appointment to check if you should arrive or not. Please do not arrive at our office if you have active symptoms (runny nose, sneezing, coughing, etc.). To avoid incurring our 24 hour full session cancelation fee, please do not wait until the day of your appointment, if at all possible, to reschedule your appointment online. If you arrive to your appointment with active symptoms, it will not be productive to proceed with treatment. You will be sent home to rest and recuperate and be charged for the session.
